| Robert M. Friedland Executive Co-Chairman & Chief Executive Officer  A co-founder of Ivanhoe Energy and Chairman of Sunwing Holding Corporation, the parent company of Ivanhoe Energy's operating subsidiary in China and Southeast Asia. Robert Friedland is an international financier who has been associated with international resource and technology ventures for 25 years. He is also Chairman and President of Ivanhoe Capital, his family's private, Singapore-based company that specializes in venture capital and project financing, and Chairman of Ivanhoe Mines, a Canadian company with extensive operating, development and exploration interests in the Asia Pacific region. | Howard Balloch Director  A veteran Canadian diplomat, Howard Balloch began serving as Canada's ambassador to China, Mongolia and North Korea in 1996 after a 20-year career in the Government of Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. A specialist on Pacific Rim nations, Mr. Balloch helped to develop bilateral exchanges between Canada and China and led the promotion and protection of Canadian interests in China. After retiring from the government's foreign service in July 2001, he continued to support Sino-Canadian business cooperation through his Beijing-based private investment and consulting business, and as President of the Canada-China Business Council. | |
| Carlos A. Cabrera Director  Mr. Cabrera is former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of UOP, a Honeywell company. UOP is a leading international supplier of process technology, catalysts, engineered systems, and technical and engineering services to the petroleum refining, petrochemical and gas processing industries. During Mr. Cabrera's 35 years in the refining and petrochemicals industry, he has been granted seven U.S. patents, authored numerous publications and frequently serves on industry panels as a recognized business and technical leader. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Kentucky and a Master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. | |

Mr. Downey went on to become a partner and the Chief Executive Officer of Lending Solutions Inc., a full-service loan call centre located in the U.S. whose clients are primarily U.S. and Canadian financial institutions. | |
| Robert Graham Director  Dr. Robert Graham is Chairman of Ensyn Corporation and co-founder of the HTL™ technology. Dr. Graham has been working on the commercial development of the RTP™ biomass refining and petroleum upgrading technologies since the early 1980s. This work culminated in the development of commercial RTP applications in the late 1980s in the wood industry, and the establishment of Ensyn Renewables Inc. to capitalize on commercial projects for this business. In 1997, Dr. Graham initiated the application of this commercial technology in the petroleum industry. | |
| Peter Meredith Director  Mr. Meredith was Ivanhoe Mines' Chief Financial Officer from May 2004, to May 2006, and from June 1999, to November 2001. Mr. Meredith has been the Chief Financial Officer of Ivanhoe Capital Corporation since June 1996. Previously, he spent 31 years with Deloitte and Touche LLP, Chartered Accountants.Mr. Meredith also is a director and Chief Executive Officer of SouthGobi Resources Ltd. (SGQ-TSXV), a majority-owned coal company focused on exploration and development of its Permian-age metallurgical and thermal coal deposits in Mongolia's South Gobi Region to supply a wide range of coal products and electricity to markets in Mongolia and China. | |
| Alex Molyneux Director  Mr. Molyneux is President and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian-based SouthGobi Resources (TSX:SGQ, HK:1878). SouthGobi is focused on exploration and development of its Permian-age coal deposits in Mongolia's South Gobi region to supply a wide range of coal products to markets in Mongolia and China. SouthGobi's largest shareholder is Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. Before joining SouthGobi in 2009, Mr. Molyneux was Head of Metals and Mining Investment Banking for Citigroup where he established a leading metals and mining investment banking business in Asia. During a distinguished career at Citigroup and UBS, he advised on coal-related public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, bond and debt offerings totalling several billion dollars. Mr. Molyneux holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from Monash University in Australia. | |
| Robert Pirraglia Director  Robert Pirraglia is an engineer and attorney with more than 25 years of experience in the development of energy projects and projects employing innovative technologies. Mr. Pirraglia currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Ensyn Corporation. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Ensyn Group Inc. starting in 1996 and became its Chief Operating Officer in 1998. Prior to joining Ensyn, in addition to being a founder of Montenay Power Corporation and serving as Chief Operating Officer of Biomedical Waste Systems Inc., he provided management and business consulting services to various U.S., Canadian and European companies. |
